CSL Day of Giving is a Huge Success

316 gifts from alumni & friends smash 2021 goal

CSL Day of Giving is a celebration of the program.  We have even more to celebrate thanks to the generosity of alumni & friends who made 316 total gifts and donated more than $20,000 dollars to the CSL Annual Fund to support student-scholarships.

"We are overwhelmed by the support & generosity of #CSLnetwork," said Carrie LeCrom, executive director. "We knew 300 gifts was an ambitious goal but once again, our alumni and friends rose to the challenge to give back to the program."

The Class Challenge was won by graduates from the Class of 2020 with 32 gifts.
This year saw 85 first time donors, most of them recent graduates from the last two years.

We also had 76 donors increase their gifts from the last Day of Giving in 2019. The 2020 Day of Giving was cancelled because of COVID-19.

"When we started the Day of Giving back in 2017, we were tryin to establish a culture of giving. That is why our goal is the numnber of gifts and not a dollar amount. We want the action of giving back to be the focus. Clearly, that message has been received with so many reccent graduates donating."

Gifts were received from 21 of the 22 cohorts in program history.
