Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Cydnie Brown has always had a love of learning and a zest for helping people. A 2020 graduate of Randolph-Macon College, where she studied Business Management, Cydnie spent much of her time volunteering on Randolph- Macon’s campus desiring to help others succeed and transform throughout their academic career. She was one of the Lead Jacket Tour Guides where she oversaw a group of guides and helped to influence prospective students to join the Randolph- Macon family. Through her work as a Tour Guide, Cydnie became interested in the Admissions process and aspired to combine her love of sports and academia. Being in love with sports her whole life, Cydnie joined VCU’s Center for Sport Leadership Class of 2021. Simultaneously, she is gaining experience in academic advising through the University of Richmond’s Student-Athlete Academic Support office. She could not be more thrilled to enter into this new phase in her academic career and hopes to continue on this path to become an academic advisor for student athletes.
