Devon Scharf was born and raised right outside of Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Cabrini University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Sports Science. While at Cabrini, Devon played for the women’s field hockey and lacrosse teams while also playing for the men’s roller hockey team. She served as a member of the student athlete advisory committee for all of her four years at Cabrini. Starting her last semester at Cabrini and continuing through 2019, Devon interned at Villanova University in the strength and conditioning room working with football and men and women’s lacrosse. After graduating from Cabrini, Devon attended the Cortiva Institute in King of Prussia, PA to obtain her license in massage therapy. She also worked for Flyers Charities as a member of the 50/50 Raffle team at both Philadelphia Flyers and Wings games. Devon utilized her time in COVID-19 quarantine during 2020 to obtain her Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certificate in Exercise Nutrition. Devon is excited to learn more about the sport industry in the CSL and from her graduate assistant position with the VCU Women’s Lacrosse team.
