Jeff Butler

Jeff Butler was raised in Chesapeake, Virginia and graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.  Butler was a four-year starter on the baseball team at R-MC. The team participated in two NCAA Regional tournaments, placing second in 2016 and winning the South Region tournament in 2018 to advance to the DIII College World Series where they placed third.  Butler worked in the athletic department at R-MC as a broadcaster and spotter for men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, field hockey, and softball.  Upon graduation, he worked as an Operations Manager for Aries Defense in Suffolk, Virginia, then as a Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach at his alma mater.  He has now stepped into the Graduate Assistant role at R-MC for his graduate assistantship.  Butler hopes to get more in depth knowledge of the sport industry to be able to set himself up for success as a collegiate/professional baseball coach.
