Jesse Flannery was born and raised in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated in 2018 from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science. While at Johns Hopkins, Jesse was a four-year student athlete on the men's basketball team, and a member of two NCAA tournament teams. He served as a team captain for the 2017-2018 season, which resulted in a Centennial Conference championship for the program. Jesse held a number of internships in the healthcare industry prior to his time at VCU. He comes to the CSL excited to become more educated about careers in sports and learn from the VCU men's basketball staff as a graduate assistant coach with the program.
