Ashley Karn
Ashley Karn was born and raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, concentrating in Strategic Advertising and minoring in Marketing Insights. During her time at VCU, Ashley played on the women’s lacrosse team all four years and served as team captain during her senior year. She was also the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and served as VCU’s Atlantic 10 representative. Ashley gained valuable experience through her internship with VCU Athletics in the marketing department and by working part-time in the VCU Athletics equipment room. Currently, Ashley is completing her graduate assistantship with VCU Women’s Lacrosse. She is also excited to volunteer this year with Dr. K and the Bon Air Youth Justice Sports Program. Ashley is thrilled to stay at VCU for another year and to continue learning from the best, alongside the best!
