Leading with gifts

No leader is successful without the help of others. That's why CSL alumni are proud to support their program — and its students. Your gifts pay for scholarships, enable new learning experiences and keep our program operating at the very highest level. Give now to empower current and future CSL students, so they can empower the world.

The CSL Annual Fund: Why it matters

At the VCU Center for Sport Leadership, we are proud of our past, and we embrace the present. But we must keep an eye on the future. The CSL wants to ensure a strong plan for success in the years to come. That is why we created the CSL Annual Fund.

Gifts to the CSL Annual Fund go directly to support scholarships and tuition assistance for incoming students. Your generosity will allow us to recruit the highest caliber of student, who will ultimately join the ranks of our enthusiastic and engaged alumni base.

We launched this initiative with our first Day of Giving on March 22, 2017. Our alumni responded with overwhelming generosity. Almost 200 CSL graduates made a gift, becoming founding donors of the CSL Annual Fund.

Now, we celebrate our success with an annual CSL Day of Giving.  We hope you will support the CSL and help us build on the momentum established since 2017. Although our Day of Giving comes just once a year, your gift is welcome at any time.

We acknowledge the rising cost of education and the intense competition from peer institutions. Your gift to the CSL Annual Fund will contribute to the resources necessary for our program to thrive.

Sincerely,

Carrie LeCrom, Ph.D.

Deciding to go to VCU for grad school was one of the best decisions of my life. Thrilled to be giving back to the CSL, a program that presented new opportunities and experiences, and also gave me lifelong friends.
