Donovan McLemore
A graduate of the University of Memphis, Donovan McLemore earned his degree from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, graduating with honors in December 2025. During his time at Memphis he developed a passion for sports media, marketing, and storytelling while launching and managing multiple sports media platforms.
Donovan's work in media led to opportunities beyond the classroom, including a feature on Amazon Prime’s The College Tour and an interview with University of Memphis President Bill Hardgrave on his weekly show The President’s Perspective. During the interview, Donovan discussed his media ventures, internship experiences, and path as a student entrepreneur.
Donovan was also selected by President Hardgrave to serve as a University of Memphis Student Ambassador. In this role, he represented the university at athletic events, engaged with alumni and donors, and assisted with game day operations.
Building on his experience in content creation and sports media, Donovan launched DM Creative Solutions LLC, a media company focused on developing timely and compelling digital content.
At VCU Donovan serves as a Graduate Assistant with Athletics Marketing, supporting marketing initiatives, game day promotions, fan engagement, digital content, and brand strategy. His goal is to build a long career at the intersection of sports, media, and marketing using creative storytelling to help connect with audiences.
