Jack Henry
Jack Henry was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and two Minors in Philosophy and Humanities. While at CU, he completed the CU Business of Sports Program, where he earned a certificate in the Business of Sports whilst working as a marketing consultant for a professional franchise. He spent his senior year at CU researching and writing an honors thesis on the rise of legalized sports betting in the United States, a body of research that earned him the Department of Anthropology’s Hale Scholar Award, as well as Summa Cum Laude Honors. Additionally, Jack gained valuable experience in collegiate athletics as a 3-year student equipment manager for Colorado’s football team.
Jack now serves as the Graduate Assistant for VCU’s Athletic Equipment Department, a continuation of the work he did as an undergraduate student. Jack is eager to learn more about the sports industry as a whole, and he aims to continue expanding his knowledge about all different aspects of the sports world.
