Katie Mazurek
Katie Mazurek is from Fredericksburg, Virginia, and she recently graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Sport Management, completing her undergraduate degree in just three years. During her time at ODU, she gained hands-on experience across collegiate athletics and sports organizations through roles with ODU Athletics, ODU Football, Virginia Beach Football Club, and Minor League Baseball. She also served as a Marketing Coordinator with ODU Athletics, where she supported athletics marketing, social media and digital content, game-day operations, promotions, fan engagement, and event initiatives.
Katie currently serves as a Marketing Graduate Assistant with University of Richmond Athletics, where she supports marketing and promotional efforts across football, basketball, lacrosse, and other athletic events. Her responsibilities include game-day production, promotional planning, fan engagement, event operations, and community initiatives.
Katie is particularly interested in sports marketing, promotions, fan engagement, and social and digital strategy. She hopes to build a career in professional sports, with a particular interest in baseball, and is passionate about creating memorable experiences that connect teams with their fans and communities."
