Michael Meese

Michael Meese was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia. He graduated Cum Laude from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at Trinity, Michael was a member of the Men’s Soccer Team and worked with the Hidden Opponent branch to promote student-athlete mental health. Michael also conducted summer research for Professor Tingle on the effectiveness of sport development programs abroad.

Michael was also selected to represent Trinity at the NCAA Athletic Administration Student Immersion Program in Nashville, Tennessee, and at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2025. During his senior year, he worked in Trinity’s Sports Information Department, where he wrote match recaps and previews and provided in-game statistics coverage.

He is currently completing his graduate assistantship in the Communications Department at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he serves as the primary contact for Men’s and Women’s Tennis. Michael is also volunteering at the Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Facility, assisting in a sport-based life skills program. He is excited to get to know his classmates, learn from his professors, and continue growing his knowledge of the sports industry.
