Owen Widrick
Owen Widrick is a native of Midlothian, Virginia and a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management and a minor in Business. During his time at JMU, Owen served as an Event Operations Assistant at the Atlantic Union Bank Center and a board member for the Student Duke Club and represented the Hart School and James Madison University as a volunteer at the 2025 Women’s Final Four in Tampa Bay, Florida. Serving as a Production Team Member of ESPN+, Owen gained valuable field experience, helping behind the camera and in the broadcast production room. During his senior year, Owen completed a 400-hour internship with JMU Athletics as an Event and Game Operations intern, where he assisted in planning, coordinating, and executing home games for JMU Women’s Lacrosse. Owen is currently completing his Graduate Assistantship with Richmond Raceway. He is excited to continue gaining experience in the NASCAR industry while broadening his knowledge of the sports industry in his classes.
