Xaviar Goodman was born and raised in Brandywine, MD. Xaviar attended The University of

Maryland, College Park (Roll Terps!) with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a certificate in Sports

Management. While attending UMD, Xaviar interned with the UMD Athletics Compliance office

for 2 semesters and interned with Georgetown Athletics Compliance over the Summer of 2023.

In addition, Xaviar was an active member of the Sports Business Society beginning his

Sophomore year and was selected to be part of the 1st ever cohort of the Schanwald Sports

Management Program. In his senior year, Xaviar was selected by the NCAA’s Postgraduate

Internship Program to interview at NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. Following his

graduation, Xaviar worked as a personal trainer for a year before accepting the invitation to join

the CSL. Concurrent to his coursework with the CSL, Xaviar is currently completing his graduate

assistantship with The VCU Athletics Compliance Office. Xaviar is dedicated to furthering his

career in athletics compliance, developing lifelong connections, and fulfilling the mission of the
