Carolyn Center
Carolyn Center is the General Manager of Learfield IMG College Spider Sports Marketing, a fully integrated multimedia rights solution provider. As the General Manager, Carolyn provides the sales leadership for all University of Richmond athletics multimedia assets including developing a strategic sales plan, pitching and closing partnerships, supervising and collaborating with the community, as well as university and department constituents.
In her previous role, Carolyn was responsible for the University of Georgia Athletic Associations number one source of revenue and record high generation of Annual Funds. Carolyn worked as a fundraiser at the University of Georgia Athletic Association for 6 years prior to her time at Richmond.
Carolyn came to Georgia after having worked in collegiate athletic fundraising for both NC State and the University of Louisville. While at NC State, Center earned her Master’s in Sports Management.
Prior to her work in college athletics Center worked in professional athletics as a professional basketball player in England, followed by one season with the Commissioner’s Office for Major League baseball in New Your City. Her work in the Special Events Office at the Commissioner’s Office led to a Merchandising Manager role for the Norfolk Tides, AAA Baseball Affiliate.
Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Richmond, where she was a Jepson School of Leadership Studies major and member of the Women’s Basketball Team, earning CAA All Academic Honors, CAA All-Rookie Team in 1996, First Team All CAA and UR Women's Basketball MVP in 1999.
