For most of our new graduate students, it was their last, First Day of School.
Forty-two graduate students began their journey at CSL Orientation Day on Monday. Executive Director Carrie LeCrom started the day with a big welcome and a powerful promise.
"32 weeks (is how long you will be here). We want you to take advantage of every single one of those and we are going to give you lots of opportunities to do that, starting today."
The Class of 2022 is brings a unique blend of experience, diversity and enthusiasm.
- Students represent 17 different states
- Studennts represent 30 different undergrad institutions
- Students represent 6 different countries
There are also 11 active student-athletes in the program competing for VCU Athletics.
Following Orientation, students participate in another CSL tradition with team building exercises at Challenge Discovery. Students work in groups through a series of activities, culminating with the ropes course.
