Danyell Monroe was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received a Marketing degree. During her undergrad years, Danyell enjoyed her experiences as a VCU Athletics Sports Marketing Intern and the Director of Campus Involvement for the Rowdy Rams. Now in the Center for Sport Leadership, Danyell is a graduate assistant in the VCU Ticket Office. She looks forward to learning all that she can and continuing her journey in the sports industry.
