Jillian Murphy was born and raised in Fredericksburg Virginia. She attended undergrad at VCU double majoring in interdisciplinary science and psychology. During her time in undergrad, she was able to explore her passion for sports through the VCU women’s rugby club. She led the team as captain and president of the club during her senior year after serving as vice president and fundraising chair in prior years. During the school year, Jillian will work with VCU athletics in operations for her graduate assistantship. She looks forward to learning more about the sport industry and being able to apply her different undergraduate background to her studies in graduate school and future career in the field.
