Addie Wright grew up in Richmond, Virginia. In 2020, They graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and as captain of the Division I women's soccer team. While working in various environmental non-profits after graduation, they continued to foster their love for sports through their work as a research assistant with Athlete Ally, a LGBTQ+ athletic advocacy organization. Addie will be working with University of Richmond Spider Performance and Development staff, focused on the holistic well-being and development of Richmond student-athletes.
