CSL Students Travel to South Africa for Service Learning Trip

Students get an up-close look at Dr. LeCrom's work in Stellenbosch

Once Dr. LeCrom was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship and knew she would be living in South Africa for a year, she started putting a plan together for for students to visit her.  On May 7, eight students travled to Cape Town to begin a week long adventure that centered around the sport-for-development work Dr. LeCrom and other organizations are doing in South Africa.

The trip included visits to Cape Town and Stellenbosch and featured educational, cultural and social interactions with sport professionals based in South Africa.
