There are certainly experiences every CSL alumni remembers: Orientation, Europe trip, networking socials and of course SEED events.
SEED or Sports and Entertainment Event Development, has been offered by the CSL since it was founded in 1999.
After a two year absence due to COVID, the community based sporting events planned and executed by our grad students will return starting Sunday March 27.
"We are excited the 2022 cohort will be able to experience this valuable and challenging opportunity, like some many of our students over the last 20 years," said Carrie LeCrom, Executive Director.
This year, all five events are being funded throuugh a grant from the VCU Foundation. During a "Shark Tank" style presentation in February, student groups pitched their event to a pair of VCU Foundation Board
memmbers who evaluated each event and awarded funding based on the group's vision.
The first event is Spring into Spring, a new partnership with ASK Childhood Cancer Foundaiton. It's set for Sunday March 27 at Sportsbackers Stadium.

Saturday April 9 - Kickin' for a Cause CP Soccer Event, a partnership with Sportable
